THE STAR OF DAVID HEBREW SCHOOL offers a traditional program of Hebrew knowledge and Jewish customs and rituals. The school’s goal is to ensure our children understand and treasure the uniqueness of their identity and to give them practical knowledge to conduct themselves according to the Jewish traditions in their adult years. The curriculum emphasizes oral and written Hebrew, Jewish Holidays and basic knowledge of daily prayers and services.

Star of David was established in 1976 to address the need for supplementary Jewish education for families in the eastern and southern parts of Ottawa. The school now has student enrollment from all over Ottawa.

Kindergarten classes are held on Wednesdays from 4:30 (note new start time) to 6:15 p.m.

Grade 1 to 7 classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 (note new start time) to 6:15 p.m.
